operating procedure for cleaning various holding tank
depending on the shape and size of the tank.It is of
utmost important to follow cGMP in all stage of

Before cleaning any holding tank in whatever shape or size
it is important to read the SOP on the equipment.Follow all
safety procedure during cleaning.
First remove all remaining suspension or solution from the
holding tank to an environment safe tank for environment safety
disposal.Close the valve and 1/4 to 1/2 filled the holding tank
with portable water.Plug in the mixer or mixing pladdle and let
it run for 5 to 10 mins to remove all the remaing material. Stop
the mixer and drained the water. Use a brush and detergent to clean
the inner wall of the tank.Rinse out with portable water and then
finally rinse with purified water.Wipe with a damp clean lint free
cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol.Remember to dismantle the valves
and clean them thoroughly.
Document all cleaned equipment and their parts in their respective
log book performed by and check by.
